Travelling through Singapore Changi Airport

Getting to Tanah Merah terminal from Changi Airport

Taxi from any terminal – Less than 15 minutes

Public Transport – Take the MRT from Changi Airport MRT to Tanah Merah MRT (2 stops)
                           Board Bus 35 and alight at the last stop at Tanah Merah ferry terminal
                           (total time about 50-60 minutes)
*Changi Airport MRT is at the basement of Terminal 2 and 3

1. Bintan, Indonesia is 1 hour behind Singapore

2. For travelers leaving Bintan to catch a flight at Changi Airport
    – Please allow 1.5 – 2 hours window period (depending on mode of transport) to reach Changi Airport from departure in Bintan (ferry ride is 55 minutes)

To get from Batam, Indonesia to Bintan Resorts, visitors may take regular speed boat from Telaga Punggur, Batam to Bandar Bentan Telani Terminal.

BRF

There is a regular ferry service operated by Bintan Resorts Ferries (BRF) that plies between Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, Singapore and Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal, Bintan Resorts.  Please remember to check in at least at least 1.5 hours before the ferry departure time. AIG travel insurance is available via BRF website. Trip Guard for BRF can be purchased at an affordable premium of S$8.00 per person for coverage of maximum 7 days of travel. For travel duration of more than 7 days, passengers can opt to buy Travel Guard. Purchase of VISA on Arrival  (VOA) onboard  is available exclusively to passengers travelling on Emerald Class. Some other perks for Emerald Class  include dedicated and combined check-in for boarding and baggage, seat assignment, use of Emerald Lounge and priority baggage handling.

Important information Passengers are advised to check-in and collect boarding passes at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, Singapore ticketing counter at least 1.5 hours before departure time. BRF reserves the right to cancel confirmed bookings if boarding passes are not collected 40 minutes before ferry departure time. For departure from Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal, Bintan Resorts, passengers are required to reconfirm their return trip and collect boarding passes at least two hours before departure. BRF reserves the right to cancel confirmed bookings if boarding passes are not collected 45 minutes before ferry departure time. Additional trips may be scheduled for peak holiday season.
