Bintan, Riau Islands – Bintan Resorts has become even more exciting with the opening of Cinderamata Bintan, an international-standard souvenir store offering not only unique local products from Bintan Island but also a curated selection of souvenirs from across Indonesia.
Conveniently located at Plaza Lagoi, the favorite shopping and recreation hub in Bintan Resorts, Cinderamata Bintan promises to be a must-visit shopping destination for tourists.
Abdul Wahab, Chief Operating Officer of Bintan Resorts, emphasized that the store’s opening reflects the Yeah Group’s ongoing commitment to the area. Since 2014, the group has significantly contributed to Plaza Lagoi through food and beverage outlets. “We are proud to see Yeah Group’s continuous growth, and Cinderamata Bintan is further proof of their dedication to supporting tourism here,” said Wahab.
By showcasing high-quality local products, Cinderamata Bintan strengthens the tourism ecosystem while celebrating Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage, particularly that of the Riau Islands. This initiative also provides opportunities for local artisans and creative industries.
Located in the heart of Plaza Lagoi, a lively center for tourist activities, Cinderamata Bintan enhances the holiday experience with its range of unique products. Plaza Lagoi also hosts exciting cultural events and attractions, making it a vibrant destination for visitors.
To ensure convenience, a Shuttle Bus Service will soon connect hotels in Bintan Resorts to Plaza Lagoi. This service is designed to make it easy for visitors to explore the various attractions in the area, including Cinderamata Bintan.
As the seventh outlet launched by the Yeah Group in the past decade, Cinderamata Bintan offers a modern and comfortable shopping environment. Its diverse collection includes local handicrafts, distinctive trinkets, and cultural accessories that represent the art and culture of Indonesia and the Riau Islands.
Putri Gunara, the owner of Cinderamata Bintan, shared that the store’s products are carefully curated from across Indonesia, with contributions from talented local artisans. One unique aspect is a collaboration with a six-year-old artisan, whose creative touch adds charm to select items. “We want every visitor to leave with something not only unique but also meaningful,” Putri explained.
Kristopher Gunara added that the store’s concept was developed over the past year. “We traveled across Indonesia to find the best crafts, ensuring every souvenir here becomes a memorable keepsake for visitors to Bintan,” he said.
With the launch of Cinderamata Bintan, tourists now have more ways to make their vacation at Bintan Resorts unforgettable. From its accessible location to its collection of distinctive souvenirs, every detail has been designed to create a memorable holiday experience.
