Bintan Reebok Spartan Race 2016

The Spartan Race is the world’s best obstacle course race, with over 240 races in 25 countries around the world in 2016. An incredible seaside destination race at Lagoi Bay Bintan was brought to the participants of the Spartan Race on 19 and 20 November 2016, where they crawled over sand, bashed through dense foliage, and swam through the ocean for the coveted Spartan medal.

Limits were tested with the Spartan Beast, which stretched over 20 kilometers long with 30 obstacles — as participants got their fill of the signature Spartan obstacles on unfamiliar terrain. For those who wanted to kickstart their Spartan journey or simply experience new terrains, there was the Spartan Sprint, coming in at over 5 kilometers with 20 obstacles.
